Occulto loves Sprint and its fifth edition is the best possible occasion to present our brand new sixth release, Issue h – just printed, you may even call it a world premiere! There are more suprises to be discovered on the spot, come have a look and a chat and let’s have dinner together somewehere in Isola afterwards. N.B.: The program actually starts with an opening the evening before, on the 24th, but the non-profit fair will take place on Saturday 2th and Sunday 26th, from 1pm to 8pm, of course at O’in Via Pastrengo – where else?

2016 is not over yet! It was an eventful year for many – ahem, not always positive – reasons, but here’s something you can rejoice about: more time to celebrate 10 years of Boring Machines, each time in a different town. Next stop after Roma (Dal Verme), S.Martino Spino (Musica nelle Valli Festival) and Berlin (West Germany, supported by Occulto) will be Milano, on 19th and 20th. The lineup is, well, amazing, click on the names if you don’t know them yet, they’re all worth it. I am preparing a heavy suprise bag for the occasion as I will spin some records on the second evening. Join!

On the occasion of their first festival, Occulto collaborates with Interkosmos by curating part of the program: we’ll present a liveset by Caudal (in their Caudalito version, guitar and drums only) and a dj set by Nana Bianca. Caudal is a Berlin-based ‘trancepunk’ trio made up of Aidan Baker (guitar), Gareth Sweeney (bass) on bass, & Felipe Salazar (drums). Baker’s multi-layered, heavily affected guitar overlays Sweeney and Salazar’s driving, propulsive rhythm section creating music equally influenced by krautrock, post-punk, and spacerock.
